TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All passengers, vehicles and goods and things loaded on vehicles and all livestock and other things whatsoever are accepted for carriage at the passengers or owners own risks and no responsibility for loss or destruction thereof or injury or damage thereto shall be borne by the barge owner or operator.

All vehicles and livestock must be loaded in accordance with the barge operator’s direction not later than 15 minutes before scheduled departure time and must be unloaded within 15 minutes of arrival time.

All persons on the barge shall obey any direction of the barge operator.

The barge operator reserves the right to cancel any voyage without notice.

The barge owner reserves the right to refuse to carry any vehicle which in his opinion is badly or dangerously loaded or carrying any explosive or other dangerous substance.

Should the barge owner agree to carry any explosive or any dangerous substance, such carriage shall be subject to conditions as he shall in each case decide.

RESERVATIONS, PAYMENTS AND SURCHARGES

Pre booking for all barge transfers is required. All barge bookings require credit card details to secure bookings. 

For Kingfisher Bay Resort Guests: payment for barge transfers will be charged upon check out.

For other Fraser Island Barges' customers: payment for barge transfers will be charged upon booking.

During peak season, 100% prepayment is required upon confirmation.

A 1% surcharge will apply to the total amount if payment is made by VISA or MASTERCARD credit card.

A 2.5% surcharge will apply to the total amount if payment is made by American Express Credit Card (AMEX) and Diners Card.
